Cajun Seafood Boil

This is an event for 6 to 20 people. Traditionally done in the Cajun areas of Louisana and New Orleans it is a group experience. A giant pot of seafood and vegetables is boiled in seasoned water. Normally I put Prawns, Crab, Mussels, Clams, Potatoes, Corn and Asparagus but you can pick any combination you like. The communal tables are then lined with paper. When the boil is ready the contents are then poured directly on the table. Then everyone digs in. I served it with sides of melted butter, hot sauce and lime. Spicy lime thai seafood sauce is also available.
